Membership in Assistance League of Ventura County is fun and rewarding. Members have their choice of philanthropic programs to support. In addition, the chapter sponsors numerous social events and lifelong friendships are made while providing community service.

Active members serve one shift (four hours) per month in the Bargain Box thrift shop and one shift (four hours) in the program of their choice. They attend monthly chapter meetings the third Thursday of each month, excluding July and December. Members serve on at least one committee. Dues are $55 per year.

Associate membership is also available. There are no shift requirements and dues are $80 per year. Associate members may participate in any of the programs, committees, fundraising and social events. They do not have voting privileges.

Nancy R. Brandt Auxiliary consists of professional members designed for working women where limited hours/obligations prevail. Meetings are held in the evening on the second Monday of each month.

Assisteens Auxiliary consists of young men and women entering seventh through 12th grade. Members are responsible for attending six regular meetings and participating in a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer service annually. Meetings are held monthly from September to May on the second Sunday of each month at 4:30 p.m.
